John Heminway

Since 1967 John Heminway has been documenting and celebrating wild corners of our planet, astonishing people and critical issues.

A DGA, WGA, AFTRA and Explorer’s Club member, as well as a Royal Geographic Society fellow, he is an accomplished author and screenwriter and producer. Learn more at heminway.net.


Katie Carpenter

As a producer, director, and development executive, Katie Carpenter has an extensive background in long-form documentaries and non- fiction series about nature, travel and the environment.

She was trained by Al Gore as a presenter for The Climate Project and is co-founder of Green Media Solutions, a consultancy firm reducing the environmental impact of the entertainment industry.


Josh Cook

Josh Cook has worked in non-fiction film for over a decade. Cutting his teeth in the music industry and reality television, he found new direction in environmental filmmaking and wildlife advocacy.

Solvie Karlstrom

Before working as a research and production assistant with Everwild Media, Solvie Karlstrom served as Assistant Editor at National Geographic Green Guide and earned a degree in sociology from Columbia University where she completed a field study on reintegration in post-conflict Sierra Leone.
